Embedded Linux Security training: materials available, new sessions open

Embedded Linxu Security training from BootlinBack in April 2026, we announced our brand new Embedded Linux Security training course, prepared by Bootlin engineers Olivier Benjamin and Mathieu Dubois-Briand.

We are happy to be sharing a number of updates regarding this training: feedback from the first sessions, availability of complete training materials, and new public sessions being available end of 2026.

First sessions

We already delivered the first two sessions of this training course: a first training course in-person in Spain in partnership with EBV, and a second training on-line to one of our customers in the US. The participant feedback from the very first session is already available online, as it is for all our sessions. Overall the main feedback is that the amount of information provided requires more time, and we have consequently adjusted the training for its in-person format so that it is given over 4 days instead of 3 days. We’re generally happy with the feedback received and we will continue to look at feedback to upcoming sessions to improve further this new training course.

Training materials

Also, the full source code of the training materials is available in our Github repository.

Public sessions in 2026

Embedded Linxu Security training from BootlinWe had already scheduled multiple public sessions of this new training course, but they ended being full very quickly: our 5 public sessions in June, July, September and October are all full. So we have opened 2 new sessions in November and December:
