Jérémie Dautheribes joined Bootlin as an embedded Linux and kernel engineer in 2022. Jérémie has been an embedded engineer since 2020.
After a short experience at Inria where he worked on cache optimization for FreeRTOS multicore programs, he joined EPSI, a company developing Linux-based solutions for short-range radar detection (< 1km). He began acquiring experience in various embedded Linux topics, ranging from Yocto BSP maintenance to secure boot and over-the-air (OTA) updates implementation such as RAUC.
At Bootlin, Jérémie has first been focusing on Yocto BSPs creation and maintenance for various platforms, including boards based on TI AM62x and NXP i.MX6/7/8 SOCs.
He then started working on more low-level topics in the Linux kernel, ranging from Ethernet PHY support to RGB display support and NAND flash debugging.
Recently he has gained experience on secure boot for the i.MX 8M Plus and i.MX 93 platforms.
He also has started sharing his experience with the community and had the opportunity to give his first talk in 2024: 10 best practices for Yocto at the Toulouse Embedded Meetup in France.
Jérémie is a trainer for our Embedded Linux and Yocto courses.
