Bootlin organizes a public on-site training session in its facilities, open to registration from participants coming from different companies. The participants travel to the location where Bootlin organizes the training course.
During these on-site training courses, Bootlin’s trainer delivers the lectures and support the participants doing the practical labs.
We limit the number of participants to a maximum of 12 per training course, in order to preserve a good level of interaction between the participants and the trainer.
Our on-site courses consists in several consecutive days (duration depends on the topic), with the course organized on each day from 9 AM to 6 PM, with a lunch break included, as well as one short break during the morning and one short break during the afternoon.
Our cost includes:
- Delivery of the training course
- Electronic copy of the training materials
- One PC laptop per participant installed with Linux, to be able to perform the labs
- One hardware kit per participant: ARM embedded platform, with all necessary accessories, provided for the duration of the training session
- Lunch, and snacks for the breaks in the morning and afternoon
Our cost does not include: travel, accommodation, breakfast and dinner.
If you have a sufficient number of participants to train (starting from 7-8 participants approximately), our private on-site sessions and private on-line sessions offer more flexibility, a more competitive pricing, and the option to chose the language in which the training is delivered.

The discount rate is applicable at the following conditions:
- Booking at least 2 months prior to the training session start
- Booking and payment made online using credit card
- Limit of 6 seats per training session at the discount rate
If you are unable to register through our online shop, do not hesitate to contact us, we will be able to provide a training contract and offer alternative payment methods.
Registration on the online shop remains available until one week before the session starting date, subject to seat availability.
Practical details
The training is organized at the Ibis Lyon Sud Oullins hotel, which is at a walking distance from the Gare d’Oullins metro station of Lyon’s transportation network. The closest airport is Lyon Saint Exupery (LYS) and the closest main train station is Lyon Part Dieu.
Participants will have to plan their trip to the training location, as well as their accommodation (the training takes place in a hotel that can also accommodate our participants). We strongly recommend to arrive on the day before the training starts. On the last day of the training, we will make sure to have covered the most essential topics before 4 PM, so that participants who need it can leave a little bit earlier on the last day.
