12/3/2021 16:57:389It was really interesting and is a good basis to use Yocto in industrial project.9Nothing to say.9Perhaps more tips on how to try solving problems. The live debug session was really interesting.910Really good knowledge of the subject, answer all questions. Really good!10The labs! Some theorical lectures with no direct usage, like tools, but it's important to know they exist, so...Management decision

12/3/2021 17:04:328Very complete and interesting course.85The only miss was the labs access (but understandable due to covid).8A bit difficult to follow at first, because there are lots of little things to know, but when reaching an upper view, it really helps understanding. Maybe having some labs on part about variable assignment, differences between append/+= depending on file inheritance could help. But it will also request more time I guess...9Interesting to see live debug as we could encoutered10Management decision

12/3/2021 17:21:4710Clear, and really practical108A shame we couldn't flash the target because of attending the course remotely1010Excellent, Maxime goes into details and explains clearly typical use cases and best practices.10I have a much better vision of what we can achieve by using Yocto project.Tips on how to debug task issues, tagging releases-We know Bootlin is a reference in the Embedded Linux world, both in contributions and trainings.

12/3/2021 18:30:4010Great training to handle quite a complex topic!9The essential points are pinpointed, and a lot a space to write some personal notes around. 10Demos are the point I enjoyed the most in this training. Well, doing this remotely is not the best, and we would need much more time to do them completely by ourselves, but it would take also much more time... Anyway, their contents is just great, and we can do them afterwards so...1015mn break after ~1hr15 of training, so 2 breaks during a session is excellent. Also, having a half-day between 2 sessions is also well appreciated in order to "breathe" and to think about what was said previously, and also to complete/redo the lab parts.10Extremely pleasant trainer, with very high skills on the topic, easy understandable even though the course was fully in English10TrainingThis is more a note that a criticism, but unless all the students are already using a bit Yocto, 5 half-days are really necessary to cover the whole course, the last day is not really an "extra" one.Course contents, Bootlin reputation ;)
