Just improve your remote labs! | 3 | Not doing the lab exercises by myself took quite a bit from the learning. I guess even throughout 2021 all training will be online. I would highly recommend to update the practical labs that they can be done remotely. Either be providing hardware accessible via network (VPN) or use widely available hardware (like an raspberry pi) or just let everybody buy a beaglebone board. When a problem occurs you can just share your screen with the tutor. | 4 | The time we had for everything was very good. But if I would do the labs myself and had questions we probably would have needed more time. | 5

4 | 10/22/2020 13:17:08 | 3 | 5 | Very nice and concise. Enjoyed the presentations. | 5 | 5 | 4 | As said before the remote labs are not as effective. | 4 | 8 | 5 | 5 | Availability of online sessions, Open training materials that can be checked in advance, Reputation from talks from Bootlin | Presentations in conferences | Linux board support package development, Development of real-time systems, Build environment support, Technical support, Bug fixing | 2 | Doing it remote made these less usefull as you are not learning as much as doing ourselfes. I am looking forward for the hands on Q and A tomorrow to fill the gaps. | 3 | 5

6 | 10/23/2020 9:58:15 | 3 | It was perfect to have 5 half days. So I could try out things and questions could be answered the next day. | 4 | I liked talking about side topics (e.g. licensing, kernel release procedure, ...) | 5 | 5 | 4 | 4 | 9 | 2 | 5 | Availability of online sessions, Trainer, Open training materials that can be checked in advance, Language | Course recommended by previous participants | Bug fixing | 3 | Due to covid situation we couldn´t do the demos on our own. We "only" watched how the instructor did the demos. That helped cause even the instructor ran into some pitfalls. But of course you learn most if you´re doing the mistakes on our own. | 3 | see above comment | 5 |
