9/25/2020 18:05:3235555510Perhaps index slides, where all the acronyms and terms are collected and briefly explained.35It was all great and necessary for me!Perhaps the driver code review, but that's probably just because I am not well versed enough to follow as quickly as we went over it... but that's my problem.Availability of online sessions, Language, The topic of Graphics!Internet search enginesNot interested535

9/25/2020 18:18:29334333I feel the course tried to cover a lot in 4 days , it would be great if its divided in to 2 courses ..like one on kernel side like drm, kms and drm drivers and may be an example of i915 etc............second course could be more focused on opengl , cuda etc ......74yes3paul and his code were amazing :)......too much time is wasted on few drivers like tty and kind of imp like frame buffers etc would have given more time .......TrainerInternet search enginesLinux board support package development, Development of real-time systemsMore specific courses than a course which give a glimpse of the stack......445

9/27/2020 19:39:3035555510Paul was very receptive to questions and was extremely knowledgeable on the subject.55I found the discussions regarding display pipeline overview, display hardware specifics ( specifically display timings and modes), display stack overview, drm kernel aspects, wayland and mesa 3d to be the most useful.I certainly learned a lot from the wayland section although even greater coverage of wayland would have been appreciated as this is currently the prevailing display server solution that most engineers will likely need to be very intimately familiar with.Availability of online sessionsTechnical resources on the Bootlin websitePower management435

9/28/2020 9:02:332Some slides were presented quick, because a lot of questions were discussed before. It will be better to add information about v4l, gstreamer and qtmultimedia subsystems5About 80% of material was new for me.Some questions was not clearly answered, but instructor tell us about it, and it is normal.5554It will be better to study v4l, gstreamer and qtmultimedia subsystemstems for me9Thanks a lot for this training, it was very useful for me.
