6/11/2020 16:32:252I suggest to have a 5 min break every hour. Two hours without break is too tough.4Some slides were too buzy for a presentation, but on the other hand it makes a great reference to be used afterwards. I've already used it A LOT after the course.Thomas was extremely knowledgeable, and his passion really shows. He's able to answer nearly every question thrown at him.5I know you've shared the slides for free on buildroot website which is very generous. That probably boosts your sales on the course. I wouldn't have found you otherwise. Good move! The slides by themselves are a good starter but the added value of the instructor makes it really worth the money.4Four hour sessions are pretty tough. Would be better to have two two hour sessions separated by one hour, for example one before lunch and one after. You have you get up to the surface to breathe once in a while.55I've been looking at buildroot for a few days before the course and it was quite an uphill. I knew that it could be done with buildroot, but getting there in practice was something else.814The basic stuff that applies to (almost) all users of buildroot, for example BR2_EXTERNAL and separate output dirs, defconfig, and how to create packages. The buildroot internals. Maybe that could be skipped, because it had to be run through too quickly.Availability of online sessions, Open training materials that can be checked in advance, Access to full feedback from participants to previous sessions, CostYour slides on the buildroot websiteNot interested4It'd be much better if I'd made the labs myself between the sessions with a real beaglebone (or emulated), to get my hands dirty and get a better feel for it. But I didn't. Thomas' demos were good, but it's always better to do stuff yourself.35
