2/7/2018 16:47:1635Slides are logically organized. They can and will be used as a reference.5Antoine really masters the subject.5Good presentation style, make people participate naturally. Excellent orator.555I started nearly from scratch, I now know the basics and can start to work and learn more.4I will not use it day-to-day, but when the skill will be needed.755LabsReferred by a friendTechnical resources on the Free Electrons websiteNot interestedAlways helped when I was stuck.5Really hands-on, great exercices. There could be more difficult exercices as bonus for people wanting to investigate the subject further.24I have a fast machine...

2/7/2018 16:50:494Purpose was to get a better idea of how will our firmware colleagues work with Yocto and this has been really instructive55Things were explained very well. The trainer takes a lot of examples and takes time to answer to the questions. He also took care everything was clear before moving on.454Sometimes difficult to follow at the end of the day as there is so much content31My participation was informative and more useful for my colleagues635Not applicable - My management made the decisionFree Electrons chosen by my managementBuild environment support433A bit short

Maybe, advise to use powerful computer.

2/7/2018 16:54:5734Lecture documents are very useful but need instructor explanations. Documents + explanations together are perfect!55Very interesting, lot of concrete example that helps the understanding of the concepts.555Not experienced with Yocto projects, this is a very good first overview to start on good basis and reflexes, but will require practice!47Thanks !35Trainer, Open training materials that can be checked in advanceFree Electrons chosen by my managementLinux board support package development, Boot time reductionThanks!Despite the fact that practical labs are not very difficult once the lecture has been covered, the support of the instructor is always welcome in case of (generally small) issues or more advanced questions.5Very useful! Mandatory to experiment concepts covered by lectures in order to integrate it for future use.Maybe too directed by the lab description, but essential to completely acquire the concepts covered by the lectures.24Difficult as compilation time represent most of the lab time. So, long sessions are required but only percentage of this time is really used.

2/7/2018 16:55:0433d is perfect if your objective is to ensure people have all the requirements to manage bitbake build system and manage a specific target.

People needs to have some Linux (shell, compilation) knowledge before to ensure the course is useful.
It was really interesting.
The group was heterogeneous (from no knowledge to knowing bitbake/Poky) and the training was interesting for everybody.

For beginners, they know everything they need to know to construct an OS using bitbake.
For advanced users, they benefits from the experience of the teacher from advance tips to architecture choices.
5The ratio between lecture/labs is just nice.
It allows to keep track with the days and materials to understand growing day after day.
5Antoine was able to answer all our questions and is really humble.
The lectures are entertaining and the labs are well managed
5The instructor add his own experience, from other works, from other trainings.
He explains different possibilities to architecture the project without being too subjective and explaining every cons and benefits from each choice.
