| 2/7/2018 16:45:10 | 3 | The course was very interesting and well structured. The trainer was clear and did not hesitate to help / inform us about some aspects related to the course. | 4 | 4 | 4 | 4 | 5 | 5 | 4 | 7 | 5 | 5 | Not applicable - My management made the decision | Course recommended by previous participants | Not interested | 5 | 3 | 3
| 2/7/2018 16:47:16 | 3 | 5 | Slides are logically organized. They can and will be used as a reference. | 5 | Antoine really masters the subject. | 5 | Good presentation style, make people participate naturally. Excellent orator. | 5 | 5 | 5 | I started nearly from scratch, I now know the basics and can start to work and learn more. | 4 | I will not use it day-to-day, but when the skill will be needed. | 7 | 5 | 5 | Labs | Referred by a friend | Technical resources on the Free Electrons website | Not interested | Always helped when I was stuck. | 5 | Really hands-on, great exercices. | There could be more difficult exercices as bonus for people wanting to investigate the subject further. | 2 | 4 | I have a fast machine...
| 5 | 3 | 5 | 4 | 5 | 3 | 5 | 3 | 4 | Not applicable - My management made the decision | Free Electrons chosen by my management | Not interested | 4 | Les labs sont de toutes façons obligatoires pour nous obliger à "pratiquer". Une formation uniquement magistrale n'aurait pas été efficace. | 3 | 3
| 2/7/2018 16:50:49 | 4 | Purpose was to get a better idea of how will our firmware colleagues work with Yocto and this has been really instructive | 5 | 5 | Things were explained very well. The trainer takes a lot of examples and takes time to answer to the questions. He also took care everything was clear before moving on. | 4 | 5 | 4 | Sometimes difficult to follow at the end of the day as there is so much content | 3 | 1 | My participation was informative and more useful for my colleagues | 6 | 3 | 5 | Not applicable - My management made the decision | Free Electrons chosen by my management | Build environment support | 4 | 3 | 3 | A bit short
| 2/7/2018 16:54:48 | 3 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 2 | At this time, I should not use Yocto ... but now, I understand the Devs talks | 6 | 1 | 5 | Not applicable - My management made the decision | Free Electrons chosen by my management | Not interested | Yes, he has explained clearly what I've missed | 5 | It was due to my "too basic" linux knowledge ... but on the third day, I was more comfortable. | 4 | 4 | My machine (personal) was too slow to build complete image. Maybe, advise to use powerful computer.
| 2/7/2018 16:54:57 | 3 | 4 | Lecture documents are very useful but need instructor explanations. Documents + explanations together are perfect! | 5 | 5 | Very interesting, lot of concrete example that helps the understanding of the concepts. | 5 | 5 | 5 | Not experienced with Yocto projects, this is a very good first overview to start on good basis and reflexes, but will require practice! | 4 | 7 | Thanks ! | 3 | 5 | Trainer, Open training materials that can be checked in advance | Free Electrons chosen by my management | Linux board support package development, Boot time reduction | Thanks! | Despite the fact that practical labs are not very difficult once the lecture has been covered, the support of the instructor is always welcome in case of (generally small) issues or more advanced questions. | 5 | Very useful! Mandatory to experiment concepts covered by lectures in order to integrate it for future use. | Maybe too directed by the lab description, but essential to completely acquire the concepts covered by the lectures. | 2 | 4 | Difficult as compilation time represent most of the lab time. So, long sessions are required but only percentage of this time is really used.
| 2/7/2018 16:55:04 | 3 | 3d is perfect if your objective is to ensure people have all the requirements to manage bitbake build system and manage a specific target. People needs to have some Linux (shell, compilation) knowledge before to ensure the course is useful. | It was really interesting. The group was heterogeneous (from no knowledge to knowing bitbake/Poky) and the training was interesting for everybody. For beginners, they know everything they need to know to construct an OS using bitbake. For advanced users, they benefits from the experience of the teacher from advance tips to architecture choices. | 5 | The ratio between lecture/labs is just nice. It allows to keep track with the days and materials to understand growing day after day. | 5 | Antoine was able to answer all our questions and is really humble. The lectures are entertaining and the labs are well managed | 5 | The instructor add his own experience, from other works, from other trainings. He explains different possibilities to architecture the project without being too subjective and explaining every cons and benefits from each choice. | 5 | 4 | 5 | 5 | 7 | would like to receive the hardware stuff to continue after the training | 2 | 5 | the labs | Availability for on-site sessions, Trainer | Technical resources on the Free Electrons website | Technical support, Bug fixing, Technology and architecture consulting | 5 | The labs are difficult enough to have the required knowledge but it let's people that go faster to go deeper inside some concepts seen in the courses. | 3 | 3 |
